When it comes to challenging supply and logistics coordination, we’re the experts.
Reknowned for supplying construction aggregates and industrial minerals globally, we provide specialist marine logistics & transportation alongside supply. Our foundation lies in Trinidad and Tobago, with roots from 1997 where our parent company, Caribbean Minerals Agency, a powerful aggregates supplier operated throughout the Caribbean, developed significant sand & gravel mining and processing facilities at Valencia, Trinidad, and acquired substantial land reserves of sand & gravel, as well as limestone, in north-east Trinidad.
It’s from here that we harnessed specialist capabilities, both in-land and with marine supply logistics using multiple sources, via bulk carriers as well as barges, manoeuvring large quantities of material to small islands throughout the Caribbean, very often with inadequate infrastructure for large scale projects.
Over the years we’ve developed robust partnerships with major international aggregate and industrial minerals producers, and on the logistics front, our partnerships with international shipping and barging companies allow us to continue to supply unique arrangements, tailored for every project.

THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
The principals of GMI possess a wealth of technical knowledge and experience in industrial minerals and all types of aggregates, and routinely coordinate production and supply operations for high-spec materials from multiple sources for major construction and industrial projects. The Managing Directors, Howard John, and Homida Mohammed bring over 30 years of extensive experience in the marine and construction industry, and continue to lead the company into the global horizon.
